I'm Victoria
Integrative Creative Therapist
(MBACP)
Alongside working 1-1 with individuals I work with charities providing advocacy and emotional support to women who find themselves in challenging and complex circumstances. Focusing on issues related to reproductive health and justice, grief, discrimination, experiences of pregnancy loss, birth trauma, domestic and sexual violence.
I care deeply about working community-based and increasing access to therapeutic/ supportive spaces that encourage and empower women to rebuild their lives.
My dedication to continuous professional development encourages me to regularly reflect on my practice as a therapist (and as an individual) considering feminist, anti-discriminatory and intersectional approaches. This includes delving into the social and political contexts that shape my work and the remarkable individuals that I support. Amplifying the voices of historically and systematically excluded communities within the mental health system is vital.
What inspires and informs my therapeutic and creative practice
My work is trauma informed which means I focus on creating a safe non-judgemental, compassionate space for your emotional exploration.

“Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognise our shared humanity.”
